Patience is a virtue

One of my favourite little sayings is that, “God is teaching me the gift of patience – I can’t wait to get it,”  Silly I know, but in the right situation and delived with the right timing it brings a wry smile. Well, to me anyway.

So, it will come as no suprise that the following resonates with me:-

Proverbs 14:29-30. “A patient man has great understanding, but a quick tempered man displays folly.  A heart at peace gives life  to the body, but envy rots the bones,”

It is ironic that my writing this in the sleepless ‘small hours’ of the morning (why do they call them the small hours? They should the called the long hours.) on a glitchy iPad has tested my patience to the full!
